Creamy Date Smoothie

Serves : 1
Ingredients :
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1/3 cup halved pitted dates ( or about 60 gm. ), coarsely chopped
- Ice cubes, as required
Method :
- Soak dates in little lukewarm milk for 30 minutes until the dates have softened.
- Combine remaining milk and dates in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add the ice and blend until frothy.
- Pour the smoothie in a tall glass and serve.
- For a rich and nutty date smoothie, add almonds before blending.
