**********************

Serves : 4

Ingredients :

Marinade :
  • 1 kg. mutton chops
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. red chillies powder
  • 1 tbsp. crushed red chillies
  • 1 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp. ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp. salt ( or to taste )
Extra :
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • Chaat masala, to taste
  • Lemon wedges

    Method :
    • Clean and wash the mutton chops thoroughly. Wipe dry with a kitchen towel.
    • In a bowl, mix together all the remaining ingredients.
    • Add the mutton chops; mix well so that the chops are coated well with the marinade.
    • Marinate for one hour.
    • In a non-stick pan, add the marinated chops.
    • Cook, covered, on low flame till they become tender & the water dries up ( Keep turning them in between. Add little water, if necessary, to cook the chops ).
    • Add oil & cook, stirring frequently until the oil separates and chops are brown.
    • Transfer to the serving platter, sprinkle chaat masala & squeeze lemon juice on top.
