Sandwiches are two or more slices of bread, with fillings between them. They can be made in many different ways and are very popular food item. So, enjoy these easy, delicious & refreshing sandwiches!
Triple Layer Sandwich

Makes : 5 large sandwiches
Ingredients :
Egg spread:
- 3 hard-cooked eggs, finely chopped / mashed with a fork
- 1 tsp. mustard paste
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise ***
Chicken Spread:
- 1 cup boiled & shredded chicken
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise ***
Vegetable Spread:
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup grated carrots
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup shredded cabbage
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise ***
Assembling :
- 20 slices of sandwich bread
- Extra mayonnaise, for spreading { total amount used in these sandwiches = 1 ( 500ml.) Pack }
*** If you need to moisten up the mixture / spreads, add more mayo to it a bit at a time.
Method :
- Combine eggs, mustard, salt and pepper. Add the mayonnaise & mix lightly. Keep aside.
- Combine chicken, salt and pepper. Add the mayonnaise & mix lightly. Keep aside.
- Combine carrots, cabbage, salt and pepper. Add the mayonnaise & mix lightly. Keep aside.
- Cut off crusts from sides of bread slices.
- For each sandwich, start with a slice of bread & spread with a thin layer of mayonnaise.
- Spread with a layer of the egg mixture.
- Spread both sides of another slice of bread with mayonnaise and place on top of the egg mixture.
- Spread with a layer of the chicken mixture.
- Spread both sides of another slice of bread with mayonnaise and place on top of the chicken mixture.
- Spread with a layer of the vegetable mixture; top with fourth bread slice.
- Repeat this process with the rest of the bread slices.
- Press on lightly and cut each sandwich into a triangle.
- Wrap up with cling film. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
Well, it's time to say good-bye! As everybody needs a break, so do I! I am taking a break from blogging towards the end of the week. Over the past few weeks, I've been struggling to catch up with you all. I'm extremely sorry for that. Actually, we are going out of city to visit our relatives & celebrate Eid.
