Mango with Cream ( A Quick Dessert )

Mango with Cream ( A Quick Dessert ) ... Mango is so delicious eaten on its own, but tastes heavenly with sweetened cream. This simple and quick dessert requires only 3 ingredients and takes only few minutes to make. A perfect treat for mango lovers!

Mango with Cream ( A Quick Dessert )
******************************************

Serves : 4 - 6

Ingredients :
  • 1 packet ( 200 ml ) cream, ( like Nestle Milk Pack )
  • 3 - 4 ripe & firm mangoes, or as required
  • 4 tbsp.  castor or Icing sugar ( adjust according to taste )

Method :
  • Peel the skin off the mango with a knife. Hold the mango firmly, cut it lengthways, as close to the seed / stone / pit as possible. Repeat with the other side.
  • Place the mango slices on a cutting board and cut them lengthwise into ( 1/2 inch ) parallel strips.
  • Cut the mango strips crosswise into ( 1/2 inch ) cubes. Scrape any remaining mango from seed / stone / pit with knife.
  • Put the cream in a bowl, add sugar to taste.
  • Add the mango cubes and scraped mango, reserve some cubes for topping; mix gently.
  • Serve well chilled. Garnish with reserved mango cubes and mint leaves, optional.
Note :
  • Use any fresh or tinned fruit instead of mango; or a mix of your favorite fruits ( like this ).
